No. The Porsche Experience Centre is designed for anyone with an interest in improving their driving ability and enjoyment. However, to guarantee consistent levels of quality for our visitors, events must be pre-booked in advance of arriving at Silverstone. We endeavour to look after all of our visitors on an individual basis, this is why we keep daily visitor numbers restricted.

Drivers must be between the ages of 17 and 80, please contact us in advance if you have had any convictions or disqualifications in the last 5 years.

To be eligible to drive any Turbo models, drivers need to be aged 21+.

To be eligible to drive any GT models, drivers need to be aged 25+. (includes GT4 and Spyder).

You must hold a full, valid UK or EU driving licence to participate. Please ensure you bring your licence with you on the day of your experience. We are unable to accept photos, copies, or expired licences. Should you have an international licence, please contact us prior to attending. Unfortunately, we are unable to permit any driving activity without verification of a valid driving licence.

The Porsche Restaurant is open all day and serves breakfast, lunch and tea. Some of our courses may include lunch so please enquire at the time of booking as lunch and/or non-driving guests must be pre-booked.

On all other Porsche Sport Driving School Courses or Porsche Driving Experience Courses you either use a Porsche which we provide or you can use your own Porsche. Find out more about the range of driving experiences available.

Hiring a vehicle ensures that you get the most out of your experience as we handle the small details such as ideal tyre pressure and fuel in the tank. A range of Porsche cars are available to hire with various costs. Porsche hire is included in the cost of every 90 minute course. However hire is not included in the cost of the Porsche Sport Driving Schools courses, you can either use your own Porsche (subject to approval) or choose which Porsche you would like to hire at an additional cost. If you have driven with any of our Driving Consultants before please mention this at the time of the booking and we will do our best to find suitable dates for your Driving Experience where your chosen Driving Consultant is available. Find out more about the Porsche Driving Consultants.

Typically if you can get to the Porsche Experience Centre we will operate the driving experience as we endeavour to simulate road conditions. In adverse weather we find guests typically get more out of the courses as they learn more about their driving style and reactions in challenging conditions. We will only cancel the Driving Experience in very unusual circumstances and endeavour to re-schedule your session at the next convenient time for you.

You are welcome to bring two guests to watch you on your driving experience. However please contact us prior to coming as all guests must be pre-booked. There may be a small guest charge depending on the experience you are attending.

Guests are welcome to spectate from various viewing areas within the Centre, but not able to join you in car.

Children are welcome at the Porsche Experience Centre providing under 16's are accompanied by a Non Driving adult at all times. Guests cannot join you in car whilst on track.

The Porsche restaurant overlooks the Porsche tracks and we also have a roof terrace which has a fantastic view over the Porsche tracks and Silverstone Grand Prix circuit. Find out more about the facilities at the Porsche Experience Centre.

Please contact us directly to check availability at least 5 days prior to your booking. Please note, due to availability it may not be possible to add catering on the day of your experience and we strongly recommend pre booking.

A session on Silverstone Circuit is included in the Porsche Sport Driving School Precision, Performance and Master courses. Crash helmets are also required and can be provided by Porsche at no additional charge.

Your driving experience will be bespoke and delivered on a one-to-one basis with a dedicated Porsche Driving Consultant who will accompany you in the vehicle for the duration.

There is no dress-code, however we recommend that you dress comfortably and with sensible driving footwear.

Cameras are not allowed in the cars, however they can be used on site.

Silverstone Circuit have a no pets or animals rule implemented on site as it is a live track area.

- Vehicle charging points are located onsite.

- 350 kw DC Charging via Porsche Turbo Chargers - will require your Porsche Charge Card or My Porsche App. (None Porsche vehicles can use the My Porsche App and pay as a ‘Guest’ within the app).

- 22 kw AC Charging via Porsche Destination Chargers – will require one of the following - Porsche Charge card, My Porsche App, Shell re-charge app, Octopus Electroverse, Elli (Elli Eco).

- Please check you are happy with the costs incurred to charge your vehicle that are set by your selected EV charge provider.

Please Note - We are unable to refund any additional costs incurred for blocking a Charger and reserving Chargers is not possible. We will help manage your access on arrival. Please requested assistance at reception.

Our online shop enables you to purchase gift vouchers that can be used as part or full payment with our Driving Experiences. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

For Porsche Driving Experience courses the session may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to the event and re-scheduled to a suitable date.

Yes, as long as the new attendee meets the insurance requirements. You can also swap between courses of the same cost, subject to availability.

Porsche Driving Experience and Porsche Sport Driving School courses operate Monday to Friday throughout the year, with a choice of start times.

You as the driver are the most important component of the car. Your health, well-being and to a certain extent, fitness dictates how much enjoyment you get from driving, and how safe and effective you are behind the wheel.

No. Our Wellness assessments do not involve exercise, we are able to evaluate your general well-being from resting measurements. The more fitness- and sports-orientated assessments will, require you to wear clothing and footwear suitable for exercise.

A Wellness Check is the most popular assessment. It takes only 15 minutes to complete and offers an invaluable insight into your current level of health and well-being.
